Eva Mireles

Eva Mireles was born in Dallas, Texas on March 17, 1978 and was sent home to be with our Heavenly Father on May 24, 2022 in Uvalde, Texas.

Eva was a 1996 graduate of Eagle Pass High School. Eva dedicated herself to her wonderful family and amazing students. Her hobbies included Crossfit, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Kane. Her smile and personality never went unnoticed as when she was around, it was never a dull moment. She was an outstanding wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, and educator. Eva will forever live on in our hearts and memories.

Visitation for Eva will be held on Thursday June 9, 2022 at 3:00pm – 9:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary (Uvalde).

Funeral mass will be celebrated for Eva on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde. Eva will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery following the funeral mass.

She is preceded in death by her father in laws; Joe Garza and Ruben Ruiz Sr. and her Aunt Vicky Garcia.

Eva is survived by her husband Ruben Ruiz Jr, Daughter Adalynn C. Ruiz, Mother Paula Mireles and Stepfather Santiago Moreno both of Eagle Pass, Sisters; Maggie Mireles Thomas of Converse and Sandra Sanders of Manor and Mother-in-Law Cynthia Garza of Uvalde. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
