Adalberto Chavez, 67, of Uvalde died on July 11, 2016, surrounded
by his family at his residence.
He was born on April 4, 1949, in Donna, TX to Margarita Lara and
Sirio Chavez.
He married San Juana Najera on Aug. 21, 1969, in Pecos, TX.
Chavez was the owner of Beto's Pump and Windmill Service,
established in 1992.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, a resident of Uvalde; four daughters, Dora
Sotelo and husband, Roy, of Uvalde, Sandra Perez and husband, Rudy,
of Bryan, Maribel Chavez of Uvalde and Jessica Suarez and husband,
Daniel, of Uvalde; two sons, Marco Chavez and companion, Dena
Puerta, of Uvalde and Julio Chavez and fiancé, Clarissa Nava, of
Uvalde; daughter-in-law, Elsa Cosme Chavez of Uvalde; 10
grandchildren, Talia Marisa Chavez, Marco Antonio Chavez II, Adan
Xavier Chavez, Mia Alessandra Chavez, Chloe Celeste Cervantes,
Leia Lysette Cervantes, Sofia Carina Perez, Roberto Alejandro Perez,
Jonathan Caleb Chavez and Isabella Marie Suarez; and one grandbaby
on the way, Adalyn Grace Chavez.
A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 and Thursday,
July 14, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 10 a.m. at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Rudy Perez, Roy Sotelo, Daniel Suarez, Salvador
Salas Jr., Richard Najera and Derek Gonzales.
