Adelfina Rios

Adelfina Arreola Rios at the age of 80 years of Batesville, Texas died on May 13, 2021 in Batesville, Texas.  She was born April 25, 1941 in Uvalde, Texas and was raised by Rosa Menchaca and Bernaldo Arreola.  She was a resident of Batesville, Texas and was married to Casimiro Rios, Sr. who was her partner in life for 50 years.

Adelfina Rios is survived by 7 daughters; 3 sons; 25 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.  daughters, Juanita Rios and husband, Feliciano, Sr. of Carrizo Springs, Texas, Rosario Rios Torres of Batesville, Texas, Maria Jaramillo and husband, Alfredo of Batesville, Texas, Norma Jean Rios of La Pryor, Texas, Martha Alicia Luna and husband, Rudy of Andrews, Texas, Veronica Rios and companion, Arturo De Leon of Uvalde, Texas, Diana Rios and wife, Melissa Ybarra of Batesville, Texas; sons, Rudy Rios and wife, Suzanna, Casimiro Rios, Jr., Richard Rios and wife, Yesenia all of Batesville, Texas

She is preceded in death by her husband; 1 daughter, Dominga Gomez; 2 sons, Pedro Rios and Roberto Rios; 2 grandchildren, Adrian Torres and Hope Rios; 3 great grandchildren, Erica German Hernandez, Crystal Rarlee Hernandez and Baby Valdez.

Visitation will begin on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Batesville.

Interment will follow at Batesville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Silvestre Rios, Brando Van Vasquez, Marlee Torres, Feliciano Rios, Jr., Audrey Lee Torres, Jason Lee Torres, Holas De Rios, Bernaldo Rios, Alfredo Jaramillo, Jr., Efrain Castro, Rio Rios, and Seferino Casimiro Rios.
