Adolfo Flores

Adolfo Carabajal Flores of Uvalde passed away on December 31, 2009 in his residence at the age of 85. He was born on February 18, 1924 in Montell, Texas to Antonio and Teresa Flores. He married Ascencion Hernandez in Crystal City in 1962. He is survived by one daughter; Dolores Campos and husband, David of Uvalde, Texas; three sons; Adolfo P. Flores Jr., and George Flores both of Uvalde, Texas; Rodolfo Flores of Abilene, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ascencion Flores, son; Francisco Flores; step-son; Eusebio H. Davila Jr.; brothers; Martin C. Flores, and Evaristo C. Flores; grandparents; Petronelo Carabajal and Sapopa Gandar also of Montell, Texas. A rosary will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Raul Ballesteros, Armando Flores, Hector Lara Sr., Jesse Flores, Hector Ortiz, Richard Sotelo, Daniel Enriquez, Armando Quiroz and Richard Olivarez.
