Albert Alonzo

Albert R. Alonzo of Uvalde passed away on February 11, 2018 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 46. He was born on July 13, 1971 in Uvalde to Cirilo and Berta (Rubio) Alonzo, Jr.
He is survived by his parents of Uvalde; brothers, Vidal R. Alonzo and wife, Maribel of La Pryor, Cirilo Alonzo, III and wife, Ana; sister, Dolores Salazar and husband, Roman all of Uvalde; nieces and nephews, Vidal Jacob Alonzo and wife, Sylvia, Nathan Alonzo, Nadyne Alonzo, Anthony P. Alonzo and wife, Ericka, Jaime Alonzo and wife, Christina, Rose Contreras and husband, Pedro "Chico" , Crissy Banda and husband, Frank, Veronica Ybarra and husband, Rudy, and Gabriel Salazar and wife, Lisa; 1 uncle and 2 aunts.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jose and Modesta Rubio and paternal grandparents, Cirilo Alonzo, Sr., and wife, Manuela
A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jaime Alonzo, Pedro "Chico" Contreras, Vidal Jacob Alonzo, Nathan Alonzo, Mike Flores, Gabriel Salazar, Luis Ruiz, Richard Espinosa, and Javier Garcia
