Albert Bevis

Albert L. Bevis of Uvalde passed away on August 16, 2008 at his residence at the age of 97. He was born on April 6, 1911 in Newton, Ill. to Charles and Ada Bevis. He is survived by two daughters; Miriam E. Lewis and husband, Paul of Spring, Texas; and Anne H. Norbert of Uvalde, Texas; two sons; Charles P. Bevis and wife, Carolyn M. of Uvalde, Texas; James A. Bevis and wife, Maurguerite F. of Belize, Central America; one sister; Emma Crane of College Station, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Proctor Bevis. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
