Alberto Hernandez-Martinez

Alberto Domingo Hernandez-Martinez of Sabinal passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 56.

Alberto was born on January 3, 1964 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Jose Alberto Hernandez and Yolanda Martinez.

He married Rosario Rodriguez on October 26, 1991 in Dodge City, Kansas.

Alberto loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, dancing and making his pollo loco.

Alberto is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rosario Hernandez of Sabinal; three sons, David Andrew Rodriguez and wife Serina of San Antonio, Ricardo Alberto Hernandez and companion Taylor Ax of Austin and Mark Anthony Hernandez and wife Marci of Sabinal; two sisters, Claudia Yolanda Silva of Atlanta, Georgia and Maria Elena Hernandez of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; four brothers, Jorge Daniel Hernandez of Merida, Mexico; Braulio Fermin Hernandez, Gerardo Luis Hernandez and Sergio Manuel Hernandez all of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; four grandchildren, Carson Cole Villasana, Catalina Rose Rodriguez, Johnathan Andrew Rodriguez, and Jaxson Marcos Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will start on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal.  A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:30 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sabinal.  Interment of follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Andrew Rodriguez, Mark Anthony Hernandez, Ricardo Alberto Hernandez, Feno Rodriguez, David Rodriguez Sr, Mauricio Contreras, Jr. Enrique Rodriguez, Efren Castillo, Juan E. Hernandez and Mario Rodriguez.
