Alberto Hernandez, Sr.

Alberto P. Flat Top Hernandez, Sr.of Uvalde passed away on March 14, 2011 in San Antonio at the age of 73. He was born on April 8, 1937 in Sabinal to Juan and Romana Puente Hernandez. He married Angelita Rodriguez in Sabinal on April 23, 1961. He is survived by his wife of 49 years three daughters, Diana Pesina of Uvalde Cynthia Espinoza and husband, Joe of Kerrville and Elizabeth Villescaz and husband, Armando of Waco a son, Alberto P. Hernandez, Jr. and wife, Maritza of Laredo brother, Narcisco Hernandez of Uvalde seven grandchildren, Herman Pesina II Joshua Pesina Isaac Pesina Roxanne Torres Atticus Villescaz Sabrina Hernandez and Samuel Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowes Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Sabinal. Pallbearers will be Joshua Pesina Herman Pesina Isaac Pesina Edward Puente Oscar Puente Armando Villescaz Joe Espinoza and Roland Hernandez.
