Alexandra Bradley Martin Feuerbacher, age 37, of San Antonio, passed away on August 7th, 2024, in her home. Born on February 22, 1987, in Austin, Alexa was the cherished daughter of Sandra Caddel Martin and Bradley and Amy Martin.
Alexa was deeply loved by all who knew her. In her younger years and throughout high school, she was a strong and dedicated athlete, excelling in both varsity and club soccer. Her determination on the field mirrored her approach to life - fierce, focused, and full of heart. She was known for her witty and clever humor, which brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. Alexa was well-read, creative, and incredibly artistic, finding beauty in even the most mundane. She was a woman of remarkable intelligence, with a rich inner world that fueled her creativity and deep understanding of life. With a boundless love for creatures big and small, she found solace and inspiration in the blessings of nature, seeing in them the reflection of God's handiwork. This deep connection with His creation ultimately let her to accept Jesus into her heart and be baptized on April 9th, 2006. Alexa's capability of encouraging a child-like wonder in others was one of her most endearing qualities, motivating those around her to see the world with fresh eyes and a renewed sense of curiosity.
She is survived by her precious children, Mathis and Adaleigh Feuerbacher, who were the light of her life. Alexa is also survived by her parents, Sandra Caddel Martin, Bradley Martin, and Amy Martin; her brothers, Andrew Bradley Martin, Henry Bradley Martin III, and Hawkin Bradley Martin; her sister, Hunter Bradley Martin; her mimi, Rebecca Yarbrough; and her mother-in-law, Clari Feuerbacher - all of whom will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Alexa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Karl Feuerbacher, with whom she joins now in eternal peace.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16th at 2:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde, Texas, followed immediately by a burial at Concan Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, August 17th starting at 3:00 pm at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens.
