Alfonzo Luevano Sr.

Alfonzo R. Luevano Sr. of La Pryor passed away at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio on February 28, 2013 at the age of 69. He was born on July 16, 1943 in Uvalde to Agapito C. and Cleofas Rocha Luevano Sr. He married Cruz Hidalgo in Campwood on July 16, 1966. He is survived by his wife of 46 years sons, Marco Antonio Luevano and wife Martha of La Pryor, Dr. Alfonso H. Luevano Jr. of Carrizo Springs, Orlando Luevano of San Antonio and Jose H. Luevano of La Pryor sisters, Maria Delgado of Abilene, Rebecca Torres of Big Spring brothers, Rogelio R. Luevano Agapito R. Luevano, Antonio R. Luevano and Hector R. Luevano all of Uvalde and Alfredo R. Luevano of Boerne 8 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Marina Cruz Luevano, sister, Elena Aguilar and brother, Enrique Luevano. A rosary will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Josephs Catholic in La Pryor. Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andres Luevano, Adrian Luevano, Osbaldo Garcia, Marco Antonio Luevano Jr. and Jose H. Luevano.
