Alfred Gordon

Alfred Goree Poly Gordon of La Pryor passed away on December 26, 2011 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. He was born on January 28, 1923 in Choate, TX to Albert and Lenora Dedear Gordon. He is survived by two sons, Dennis Ray Gordon of La Pryor and Larry K. Gordon, Sr. of Carrizo Springs six grandchildren, Amanda Gault and husband, Mark of Austin Kendra Snell and husband, John of Carrizo Springs Debra Gordon of New Braunfels Kenzie Loaeza and husband, John of Leander Pam Wood and husband, Nathan of La Pryor and Larry K. Gordon, Jr., USMC, Okinawa, Japan ten greatgrandchildren, Shea and Brianna Gault of Austin Justin and Ryllie Snell of Carrizo Springs Nicholas and Cheyann Gordon of New Braunfels Roman and Lilia Loaeza of Leander and James and Jacob Wood of La Pryor one sister, Ima Gordon of Del Rio and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Donna Jane Gordon five brothers, and two sisters. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the La Pryor Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate.
