Alfredo Lopez

Alfredo Lopez of Sabinal passed away in San Antonio on July 21, 2018 at the age of 77. He was born on July 15, 1941 in Sabinal to Ysabel and Vicenta (Campos) Lopez,Sr. He married Juanita Gomez in Juno, Wisconsin on August 16, 1959.
He is survived by his sons, Alfredo Lopez, Jr. and Joe Rene Lopez and wife, Isabel all of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; daughter, Eleanor Lopez Alvarado; and brothers, Ysabel Lopez, Jr. and Arnulfo C. Lopez.
Mr. Lopez enjoyed watching the San Antonio Spurs and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:15 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal. Interment will follow at Sabinal Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Lopez, Victor Joe Alvarado, Robert Hernandez, Corina Hernandez, Christina Lopez and Alfredo Lopez, III.
