Alfredo Urbina Jr.

Alfredo Mauricio Urbina, Jr., of Uvalde passed away on January 24, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 51.  He was born on March 6, 1970 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Guadalupe Mauricio and Alfredo Urbina, Sr.

He is survived by his father of Uvalde; daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Urbina of Tampa, Florida; sons, Alfredo Urbina, III of Uvalde; Texas, Alejandro Aciel Urbina of Tampa, Florida and Abram Urbina of Uvalde, Texas; brother, Juan Eduardo Castillo and wife, Alicia of Eagle Pass; grandchildren, Seraphine Aimee Urbina, Cesar Alfredo Urbina and Aneka Vasquez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and brother, Joseph Castillo.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery

Pallbearers will be Alfredo Urbina III, Alejandro Aciel Urbina, Juan Castillo, Flavio Castillo, Luis Castillo, and Eduardo Castillo.
