Alice Eiband

Alice Estelle Eiband of Concan passed away on January 21, 2008 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 89. She was born on October 14, 1918 in Utopia, TX to Frank and Christine Haby Wentworth. She married George Eugene Eiband on March 2, 1940 in Uvalde. He preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1982. She is survived by a son, George Eiband and wife, Cecelia of Houston; sister, Marie Heard of Uvalde; two grandchildren, George Devin Eiband and wife, Michelle of Austin; and Dara Louise Lanman and husband, Will of Louisville, Kentucky; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Frank Wentworth; and sister, Margaret Behrens. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008, at 10:00 AM in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Scott Bradford will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the 1st United Methodist Church Building Fund.
