Marie Mills

Alma Marie (Boultinghouse) Mills was called to be with the Lord February 6, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born July 13, 1934 in Sabinal, TX to George and Mildred (Horton) Boultinghouse. She married Charles H. Mills, Sr. on December 21, 1951. They enjoyed life together and on July 9, 1955 had a son Charles H. Mills, Jr. Marie worked at Southwest TX Jr. College for 30 plus years and retired to enjoy life with her husband and travel around the U.S.

Marie is survived by her son, Charles H. Mills Jr. and wife, Joy of Carrizo Springs, two grandsons, Clinton Lee Mills and wife, Tanya and Cliff Ray Mills and wife Angel. Two Ex daughters-in-law Anita Mills of San Antonio and Cindy Justice of Brady, TX. Nine great grandchildren, Destiney, Clay and Hunter Mills, Christian Keeney, Baylee Cocchiaro, Abigail Ballard, AJ, Gavon and William Funk. Lifelong friend Aline Causey

 Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Everyone who met her loved her dearly. Marie loved to cook and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. You ate and well and after a meal she would try to talk anyone into playing a round of Chicken Foot or Mexican Train. She loved the Lord and was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Uvalde.

Marie was laid to rest on February 13 at Waresville Cemetery, Utopia, through Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary of Uvalde.
