Alma Reagan White of Uvalde passed away on August 28, 2009 at the age of 98. She was born on June 22, 1911 in San Antonio, TX to Emmett and Stella Jones Reagan. Her family moved to Dilley, TX when she was a young girl and she graduated from high school there. She attended Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, TX. She married Jared Sanders White, Jr. in Dilley on June 12, 1931. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1994. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Uvalde where she volunteered for many years with Vacation Bible School. She was also the pianist for the children's Sunday School. She is survived by a daughter, Jo Claire Lambert and husband, Willie of Austin; three grandsons, Reagan, Ric, and Collin Lambert; five great-grandsons; and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, and an infant daughter, Sandra Reagan White. Graveside services were held on Monday, August 31, 2009 in Uvalde Cemetery. Reagan Lambert, grandson, officiated.
