Altagracia L. Angeles

Altagracia (Grace) Leal Angeles, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on December 30, 2023 in Uvalde, Texas at the age of 89. She was born on August 20, 1934 in Blewett, Texas to Anselma (Velasquez) and Mateo Leal.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Angeles of Uvalde; son, Luis Javier Angeles and wife Christina Angeles of Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Ana Lilia Weston and Clay Weston of San Antonio, Texas; sister Josefa Sanchez of Uvalde, Texas; two grandchildren, Caden James Weston and Grace Isabella Weston of San Antonio, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anselma (Velasquez) and Mateo Leal; brothers Ernesto Leal, Refugio Leal, and Pablo Leal; sisters, Socorro Castillo, Roselia Gonzales, Mariana Moreno, Gloria Looney, Teresa Rodriquez, and Alicia Leal.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery
