Alvin Connell

Alvin L. Connell of Uvalde passed away on January 27, 2014 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 85. He was born on September 10, 1928 in Dry Creek, TX to Ammon and Mary Hatley Connell. He is survived by a son, Donnie Connell and wife, Dorothy of San Antonio and three daughters, Donna Connell of Uvalde Dana Wood and husband, Richard of Bryan and Diane Jacobs and husband, Jim of Emory, TX a brother, Joe Connell of Camp Wood eight grandchildren, Joli Jacobs Coy Jacobs Calli Wood Cade Wood Cody Wood Caitlyn Connell Parker Connell and Hailey Connell and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents two sisters, Faye Quick and Ida Martin and two brothers, Leroy Connell and Jesse Ray Connell. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM in Barksdale Cemetery.
