Amalia Mauricio

Amalia Mauricio of Uvalde passed away on August 29, 2013 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 65. She was born on October 25, 1947 in Eagle Pass to Jose and Luisa Puentes Mauricio, Jr. She is survived by four sisters, Guadalupe Urbina and husband, Alfredo, Sr. of Uvalde and Dolores Sambrano, Trinidad Ortiz, and Maria Luisa Jimenez, all of Eagle Pass two brothers, Jose Mauricio III and Francisco Mauricio, both of Eagle Pass and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents a sister, Maria Del Refugio Roque and brother, Luis Angel Mauricio. A rosary will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
