Amelia Aguilar

Amelia Cuellar Aguilar of Uvalde passed away on August 14, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 77. She was born on March 30, 1932 in Uvalde, Texas to Severo and Clara Cuellar. She is survived by her ex-husband Ismael B. Aguilar of Uvalde, Tx; three daughters; Elsa Fosbenner and husband Bill of Uvalde, Tx; Emma Sue Sukie Aguilar of San Antonio, Tx; Belinda Lopez and husband Armando of San Antonio, Tx; four sons; Daniel Aguilar and wife Sophia of Crystal City, Tx; Joel Aguilar of San Antonio, Tx; Jose Luis Aguilar and wife Lisa of Uvalde, Tx; Isamel Michael Aguilar and wife Angelina of San Antonio, Tx; three sisters; Nena Varela of Uvalde, Tx; Eva Diaz of Uvalde, Tx.; Rebecca Garcia of Uvalde, Tx; two brothers; Richard Cuellar of Uvalde, Tx; Rudy Cuellar of Uvalde, Tx; twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son; Israel Aguilar Sr.; and two grandsons; Israel Aguilar Jr. and Joel C. Aguilar Jr. A prayer service will be held on Sunday at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Brother Edward De La Rosa will officiating the funeral service. Cremation to follow under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
