Amelia Moreno

Amelia Moreno of Knippa passed away on December 22, 2008 at her residence at the age of 70. She was born on October 22, 1938 in Acuna Coahuila, Mexico to Jose and Maria Hernandez. She married Jesus Moreno Sr. in Acuna, Mexico on November 22, 1957. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Jesus Moreno Sr. of Knippa, Texas; two daughters; Dora Elia Enriquez and husband, Bartolo of Dallas, Texas; Dalia Guevara and husband, Martin of Ft. Worth, Texas; six sons; Jesus Moreno Jr. and wife Esperanza; Jose Luis Moreno; and Gerardo Moreno all of Knippa, Texas; Mario Moreno and Juan Moreno and wife, Rebecca Paredes all of Dallas, Texas; and Jorge Moreno and wife, Virginia of Uvalde, Texas; four sisters; Juana, Irma , Elodia and Guillermina Hernandez all of Mexico; six brothers; Jesus, Arturo, Jose, Alfredo, and Elmer Hernandez all of Mexico; and Jaime Hernandez of Dallas, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother; Ignacio Hernandez. A rosary will be held on Monday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel and a prayer service will also be held on Monday at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel at 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Knippa Cemetery. Brother Juan Guerrero will officiate.
