Ana Cervantes

Anna Maria Cervantes of Uvalde passed away on September 8, 2012 at University Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 76. She was born on March 17, 1936 in Blewett, Texas to Guadalupe and Soledad Trevino Rodriguez. She married Rigoberto Cervantes on August 29, 1969 in Uvalde. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, daughters, Margo Belman and husband Pete of Uvalde, Marisa Cervantes and companion Conrad Longoria of Uvalde, Connie De Leon and husband Isaul of Eagle Pass son, Rigoberto Cervantes Jr. of Uvalde, sisters, Consuelo Luna, Hortencia Pena both of Uvalde, Mary Fernandez, Alicia Gonzales and husband Ted, Susana Garza and husband Roberto all of San Antonio brother, Ernesto Rodriguez and wife Ruth of Corpus Christi grandchildren, Kristina Belman, Pete Belman, Orlando Belman, Denise Belman, Randy Belman, Ricky Benavidez, Gabriela Gonzales, Alex Vasquez, Stephenie De Leon, Isaulito De Leon, Rigoberto Cervantes III and Bianca Cervantes great grandchildren, Samantha Pichardo, Bryson Belman and Alazay Cervantes. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Carmen Parsley and Henrieta Murphy and niece, Rachel Ybarra. A rosary will be held on Monday September 10, 2012 and Tuesday September 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
