Anatolio Tellez

Anatolio L. Tellez of La Pryor passed away on November 26, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 78. He was born on September 7, 1940 in La Pryor to Florentino and Consuelo (Luna) Tellez. He married Francisca Quijano in La Pryor on June 1, 1964.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years of La Pryor; daughters, Consuelo Flores and husband, Augustin of Killeen; Melissa Tellez and husband, George Gonzales of San Antonio, Juanita Barrios and husband, Lucio of La Pryor and Maria Soria and husband, Francisco of Midland; son, Guadalupe Tellez and wife, Martha Castillo of La Pryor; sisters, Herlinda Melendrez and husband, Ernesto of Ohio, Esther Espinoza and husband, Julio of Dallas, Rosa Garcia and Consuelo Garcia and husband, Guadalupe all of La Pryor; brothers, Armando Rodriguez and wife, Guadalupe and Guadalupe Tellez all of La Pryor; 18 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Pryor. Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Francisco Soria, Jr., Patrick Soria, Jonathan Castillo, Guadalupe Tellez, Lucio Barrios IV, Cody Barrios, Augustin Flores, Jr., Abel Flores and George Gonzales, III. Honorary pallbearers will be Armando Rodriguez and Guadalupe Tellez
