Andrea Arredondo

Andrea R. Arredondo, 79 , of Uvalde, passed away on August 10, 2022, at Texas Vista Medical Center in San Antonio at the age of 79.

She was born on November 30, 1942, in Tokio, Texas to Victoria (Flores) and Cruz Rodriguez.

Visitation will begin on Sunday August 14, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. A rosary will be held on Sunday and Monday at 7:00 p.m.  at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

She married Juan S. Arredondo in Childress, Texas on October 18, 1956.

She is survived by her three daughters, Lupe Robles and husband, Fendo, Dora Martinez and husband, Joe and Letty Duran and husband, Ralph all of Uvalde; son, Julian Arredondo and wife, Lucy of Uvalde; three brothers, Enemencio Rodriguez, Rodolfo Rodriguez both of Sabinal and Ruben Rodriguez of Uvalde; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; 4 sons, Francisco Arredondo, Rudy Arredondo, Johnny Arredondo and Frank Arredondo.
