Andrew was both loving, and fun-loving, a teddy bear son, brother, and friend to everyone he met. He graduated from Uvalde High School in 1979, and began his career as stocker with Warehouse Grocery, then with HEB as overnight stocker for over 20 years. He had a passion for serving the church both in Uvalde and La Pryor as bingo caller, and also working at their respective church festivals with his DJ music. In Uvalde, he also served as a church youth sponsor, the 1995 Citizen Police Academy, and assistant coach with Uvalde Little League. He loved family gatherings, dancing, watching football; especially his favorite team, the Houston Texans, as well as wrestling. He will forever be missed and loved.
The family wants to thank his doctors, Dr. Jamil Bitar and Dr. Colin Son for their care and concern.
