Andrew "Tall Tree" Perez

Andrew "Tall Tree" Perez of Uvalde, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital, at the age of 77.

Andrew was born on February 4, 1944 in Uvalde to Daniel and Telefora (Torres) Perez.

He married Aida Sanchez on July 20, 2000 in Uvalde.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Aida Sanchez-Perez of Uvalde; four daughters, Clementina Ramirez and husband Martin of Uvalde, Joy Ellen Perez and significate Alicia Vasquez of Lockhart, Angel Perez and husband Rodolfo Gonzales of Sabinal and Sandy Hernandez and husband Albert of Sabinal; step-daughter, Miranda E. Sanchez of Dallas ; two sons, Andrew Perez Jr. and wife Leanna of Uvalde, Nathan Perez and wife Cassandra of Minnesota; step-son, Jason Sanchez and wife Elsie of Uvalde; five sisters, Antonia Hernandez, Maria Cantu, Maria Elena Perez, Guadalupe Price and husband Sam all of Uvalde and Martina Pugh and husband Bill of South Dakota; four brothers, Ambrosio Perez and wife Isabel of Iorrington, Wy., Daniel Perez Jr. and wife Aurora of Idaho, Santiago Perez and wife Sandra of Uvalde and Silverio “Silver” T. Perez and wife Trinidad of Uvalde; sister-in-law, Maria Belia Perez of Uvalde; 23 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Andrew was preceded in death by parents, sister, Juanita Hernandez and brother, Ines Perez.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
