Angelica Garza

Angelica Maria Garza of Uvalde passed away on October 11, 2021 at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 42.  She was born on October 27, 1978 in Uvalde, Texas to Heliodoro Garza and Juanita Navarro.

She is survived by her parents of Uvalde; husband, Joe Esparza of 8 years of Uvalde; grandmother, Enedina Navarro of Uvalde; daughters, Makayla Garza, Carmen Esparza, Aaliyah Esparza, Samantha Caballero all of Uvalde; sons, Kryss Angel Flores and Xavier Nathaniel Esparza both of Uvalde; sister, Amanda Garza of Uvalde; brothers, Eddie Garza of Durleson and Stevie Garza of Uvalde; grandson, Luke Esparza of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Templo Christiano Church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lee Esparza, Jr., Eddie Garza, Elidoro G. Rodriguez, Steve Garza, Raul Lozano, Santos Esparza, Refugio "Cuco" Garza and John Gomez.
