Anita Mancha

Anita Cruz Mancha of Uvalde passed away on August 3, 2008 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. She was born on May 3, 1924 in Giddings, Texas to Henry and Luz Cruz. She married Jose Mancha Jr. in Uvalde, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Jose Mancha Jr. of Uvalde, Texas; one sister; Josephine Perciado of San Antonio, Texas; one brother; Gilbert M. Cruz of Uvalde, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Cruz Jr., Daniel Gonzales, Henry DeHoyos, Hector Perciado, Joe Vasquez and Richard Rodriguez.
