Anita Martinez

Anita Rodriguez Martinez passed away on February 7, 2012 at her residence at the age of 90. She was born on March 13, 1921 in Raymondville, TX to Eusebio and Lucia Sosa Rodriguez. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Elizondo and husband, Arturo of Uvalde Juanita Castillo and husband, Jose of Pasadena, TX and Irma Torres of Batesville four sons, Guadalupe Martinez and wife, Sara and Robert Martinez and wife, Rosa all of Houston Salvador Martinez of Minnesota and Jose Luis Martinez and wife, Olga of Batesville 35 grandchildren 57 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents two sons, Armando Martinez and Julian Rodriguez, Jr. granddaughter, Juanita Elena Castillo grandson, Mario Ramirez and greatgreatgranddaughter, Aliza Rose Martinez. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Batesville with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carlos Pedroza, Jr. Daniel Cardona Luis Armando Martinez Guadalupe Martinez, Jr. Arturo Elizondo, Jr. Scott Martinez and Kevin Castillo.
