Ann Cook

Ann Hudson Cook of Uvalde passed away on January 13, 2010 in her residence at the age of 79. She was born on June 1, 1930 in Pearsall, Texas to Jack and Annie Hudson. She married Lloyd Benjamin Cook Jr. on April 3, 1953 in Pearsall, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Lloyd B. Cook Jr. of Uvalde, Texas two daughters Carol Colshan and husband, Larry of Garden Grove, CA Mary Schutza and husband, Curtis of Little Elm, Texas one sister Marie Carson of Wimberly, Texas five grandchildren Sarah, Matthew, Erin, and Emily Colshan and Jill Schutza White numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Mansel Hudson. The family visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Uvalde with burial to follow in Frio Town Cemetery near Pearsall, Texas. Pallbearers will be Bill Prince, J.W. Stewart, Clinton Cook, Olen Yarnell, Harold Eaker, and Ira Sansom. Rev. Jerry Scott will be officiating.
