Anna Irwin

Anna Lee Irwin of Batesville passed away on October 21, 2007 in Uvalde Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 71. She was born on August 24, 1936 in Hunter, TX to Claude and Edna McGill. She married Charles Chuck Irwin in Crystal City, TX in 1953. She is survived by her husband of 54 years; daughter, Barbara Jaskinia and husband, Rudy of LaVernia; son-in-law, Roy Chisum of Uvalde; sister, Barbara Heck of Fallon, Nevada; grandchildren, Charles Bubba Chisum and wife, Jean Ann; Amy Lynn Chisum; Alice Thompson and husband, Jason; and Riley and Kendyl Jaskinia; great-grandchildren, Dalton and Abigail Chisum; Andrew, Katelyn, and Claudia Ryan Thompson; and Bryce and Maelee Mendoza. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Claudia Chisum; and two brothers, James and Maurice McGill. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Batesville. Rev. Johnney Whiteaker will officiate. Cremation was under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
