Annabel Price

Annabel Cecilia Price of Knippa passed away on March 2, 2009 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. She was born in Knippa on September 15, 1919 to O.B. and Lydia Knippa Kessler. She married Buster Earle Price in San Antonio on February 27, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1978. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Niemeyer of Willis, TX; son, Eugene Price and wife, Juanita of Spring Branch; and grandchildren, Brenda Niemeyer and V.J. Niemeyer, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Knippa with burial to follow in the Knippa Cemetery. Pastor Daryl Knox will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hanson; Bobby Owens; George DuBoise; Bobby Kessler; Terry Kessler; Jerry O'Bryant, Jr.; Bill Kessler; and Rick Eubanks. Memorial donations may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Knippa or the Knippa Cemetery Fund. Visitation for Mrs. Price will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
