Annabell Gomez

Annabell Samarripa Gomez of Sabinal passed away on July 1, 2018 at her residence at the age of 57. She was born on April 21, 1961 in San Antonio to Jose Samarripa and Victoria Gomez Samarripa. She married Mario Gomez on June 26, 1979 in Uvalde. She is survived by her husband of 39 years; mother; daughters, Isabel Gomez, Yesina Gomez, Crystal Gomez and Kasandra Gomez, all of Sabinal, and Sue Ann Montejo of Alton, IA; three sons, Mario Gomez, Jr., Jose Angel Gomez, and Manuel Gomez, all of Sabinal; sister, Elizabeth Gonzales and husband Cristobal of Lake Elsinore, California; brother, Ruben Samarripa and wife, Deborah of Killeen; 12 grandchildren, Maliki Gomez, Yesina Maria Gomez, Roy Ontiveros, Ruben Ontiveros, Anthony Gomez, Andres Montejo, Jose Angel Gomez, Jr., Anna Jay Gomez, Jevy Rivas, Jesery Rivas, Jesidiah Rivas, and Jedidiah Rivas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and daughter, April Gomez. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
