Antonia Castillo

Mrs. Antonia V. Castillo of La Pryor passed away February 27, 2007 at her residence at the age of 91. She was born June 17, 1915 to Pablo and Ramona Vera in Encinal, Tx.

She is survived by daughters, Rosa Pargas and husband Jose of La Pryor; Yolanda Mata and husband Juan of Wisconsin; Maria Castillo of Uvalde; sons, Francisco Castillo, Jr. and wife Wanda of La Pryor; Jose Castillo and wife Yomar of Hillsboro, Tx.; Mario Castillo and wife Juanita of La Pryor; Juan Castillo of La Pryor; Humberto Castillo and wife Victoria of Houston; Manuel Castillo and wife Inez of Bruni and Pedro Castillo and wife Criselda of Uvalde; sister, Manuela Garza of Crystal City; brothers, Dionicio Vera and Santos Vera, both of La Pryor; 45 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francisco G. Castillo, Sr.; son, Armando Castillo and brother, Rafael Vera, Sr.

Services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2007 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in La Pryor Cemetery in La Pryor, Texas.
