Antonia Rodriguez

Antonia C. Rodriguez of Batesville passed away on May 24, 2012 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 91. She was born on April 17, 1921 in Alexandra, LA to Calistro and Francisca Gonzales Canales. She married Nestor Rodriguez in 1936 in Batesville, TX. She is survived by five daughters Sulema Rodriguez of Batesville, TX. Lidia Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX. Benita Luna and husband Frank of Uvalde, TX. Elida Aguirre and husband Alejandro of Batesville, TX. Celia Perez and husband Ricardo of California one son Nestor Rodriguez Jr. and wife Maria of Austin, TX. two sisters Maria C. Ramos of San Antonio, TX. and Francisca C. Luna of Batesville, TX. one brother Eulalio Canales of Georgetown, TX. 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one greatgreat grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sons, Disidoro Rodriguez and Berardo Rodriguez. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Monday and Tuesday night at 7:00 at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday morning, the 30th of May, at St Patrick Catholic Church in Batesville with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery. Fr. Gustavo Ortega will officiate.
