Antonio Contreras

Antonio Tony Contreras of Knippa passed away on May 30, 2011 in Knippa at the age of 43. He was born on January 26, 1968 in Uvalde, Texas to Severo and Cruz Vasquez Contreras. He is survived by his father Severo Contreras of Knippa, Texas daughter, Vanessa Contreras of Knippa, Texas sister Barbara Rodriguez and husband Johnny of Hillsboro, Texas four brothers Severo Contreras and wife Sara of Huntsville Alabama Johnny Contreras and wife Karen of Alabama Sam Contreras and wife Eva of Knippa, Texas Mark Contreras and wife Becky of Uvalde, Texas three grandchildren, Luke Jimenez, Billy Jimenez, and Nevaeh Jimenez and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother Jimmy Contreras. Rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Uvalde and a prayer service on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Knippa, burial will follow at Knippa Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Severo Contreras, Johnny Contreras, Sam Contreras, Mark Contreras, Johnny Rodriguez, Johnny Hill, Cecil Torres and June Martinez.
