Antonio Santos

Antonio F. Santos of Uvalde passed away on November 30, 2014 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 81. He was born on October 9, 1933 in Melchor Musquiz, Coahuila, Mexico to Juan M. Santos and Concepcion Flores Santos. He married Vicenta Rodriguez in Melchor Musquiz, Coahuila, Mexico in 1956. He is survived by his wife of 58 years three daughters, Maria L. De Hoyos and husband, Juan Carlos of Del Rio Sylvia Lopez and husband Arturo of Seguin and Connie Ramirez and husband, Sam of Florence, TX three sons, Juan Antonio Too Santos of Uvalde Frank Santos and wife, Michelle of Round Rock and Jesus Santos and wife, Elisa of Knippa two sisters, Luisa Suarez of Melchor Musquiz, Coahuila, Mexico and Flora Avalos and husband, Armando of San Antonio two brothers, Juan Santos and wife, Maria Anita of Uvalde and Armando Santos and wife, Ester of Melchor Musquiz, Coahuila, Mexico 17 grandchildren, Daniel De Hoyos Carlos De Hoyos David De Hoyos Cecilia De La Rosa Andres Lopez Manuel Ramirez Samantha Ramirez Alex Ramirez John Joseph Ramirez Rosie Ramirez Zachary Santos Savanna Santos Sawyer Santos Troy Santos Matthew Santos Ryan Santos and Cameron Santos and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents daughter, Rosario Santos two brothers, Arnulfo Santos and Roberto Santos and one sister, Angelica Gutierrez. A rosary will be held on Monday at 6:00 PM and Tuesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Manuel Ramirez, Daniel De Hoyos, Carlos De Hoyos, Alex Ramirez, David De Hoyos, Andres Lopez, John Joseph Ramirez, and Zachary Santos. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Santos, Matthew Santos, Ryan Santos, Cameron Santos, and Sawyer Santos.
