April Gomez

April Jasmine Gomez of Uvalde passed away on June 6, 2009 in Sabinal, Texas at the age of 30. She was born on November 3, 1978 in Uvalde, Texas to Johnny Flores and Annabell Gomez. She is survived by her parents, Mario and Annabell Gomez of Sabinal, Texas; father; Johnny Flores of Uvalde, Texas; maternal grandmother; Victoria Samarripa of Uvalde, Texas; one son; Maliki Rushawn Gomez of Uvalde, Texas; five sisters; Isabel S. Gomez, Yesina S. Gomez, Sueann S. Gomez, Crystal L. Gomez, and Kasandra S. Gomez all of Sabinal, Texas; three brothers; Mario Gomez Jr., Jose Angel Gomez and Manuel Gomez all of Sabinal, Texas; Aunt; Lisa S. Gonzales and husband, Chris of Riverside, California; uncle; Ruben Samarripa and wife, Debbie of Killeen, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents; Arcadio and Andrea Gomez; Paternal great grandparents; Jose Feliz Samarripa; maternal grandfather; Jose Samarripa; maternal great grandparents; Tomas Gomez and Severiano Gomez. A rosary will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Isabel Gomez, Yesina Gomez, Sueann Gomez, Kassandra Gomez, Jose Angel Gomez, Manuel Gomez and Mario Gomez Jr.
