Armando Villarreal Aguero

Armando Villarreal Aguero, 76, of Uvalde, passed away on March 7, 2024, at Amistad Nursing Home.  

He was born on June 26, 1947, to Juanita (Villarreal) and Hilario Sanchez Aguero  

He married Maria Canales on October 26, 1973, in Uvalde. 

He is survived by his wife, Maria Aguero, of 50 years of Uvalde; two daughters, Amanda Aguero of Uvalde, Lisa Aguero of Uvalde; two sons, Armando Aguero, Jr and wife, Elizabeth Espinosa of San Antonio and Adolfo Aguero of Puerto Rico; brother, Ernesto Aguero of Uvalde; sister, Dora Martinez and husband, Enrique of Knippa; grandchildren, Marc Martinez, Mia Martinez, Jacqueline Espinosa, and Aaron Aguero; great grandchild, Alana Rueda; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Rodolfo Aguero. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. and Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 8 am. To 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
