Armando "Mudo" Olvedo of Uvalde passed away on May 10, 2018 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 60. He was born on September 19, 1957 in Sister Bay, WI to Adan Oscar and Esperanza (Vasquez) Olvedo. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Olvedo of Uvalde; mother, Esperanza Olvedo of Uvalde; brothers, Robert Olvedo and wife, Fina of Crystal City; Jose Olvedo and wife, Rosario, and Richard Olvedo and wife, Lucy, all of Uvalde; and Oscar Olvedo and wife, Tina of Abilene; sisters, Sulema Flores of Uvalde; and Diana Karau and husband, Kyle of Gaylord, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews, all whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Roy Vasquez. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adan Olvedo; Castulo "Bam" Olvedo; Jose Luis Olvedo, Jr.; Richard Flores; Robert Flores, Jr.; and Robert Olvedo, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Humberto Aguilar.
