Armando Sanchez

Armando M. Sanchez of Uvalde passed away on March 23, 2013 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at age of 80. He was born on May 17, 1932 in Sanderson, Texas to Mauricio and Hortencia Munoz Sanchez. He married Elena Gonzales on February 24, 1957 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 56 years daughter, Rachel Contreras and husband Richard of Uvalde, Texas son, Ed Sanchez and wife Pam of Georgetown, Texas brothers, Daniel Sanchez of Uvalde, Texas Arturo Sanchez of Rowlett, Texas and Richard Sanchez of Uvalde, Texas five grandchildren, Matthew Sanchez, Alec Sanchez, Lauren Sanchez, Julia Sanchez and Sarah Sanchez numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held Saturday and Sunday night at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
