Arthur Cox

Arthur Henry Cox of Campwood passed away on April 26, 2011 in San Antonio at the age of 75. He was born on February 3, 1936 in Camp Wood to Milas and Mona Blakeney Cox. He married Veronica Sauerwein in Rocksprings in 1964. He is survived by his wife of 46 years daughter, Molly Miller and husband, Kenneth of Camp Wood son, John Cox and girlfriend, Shirley Snyder of Camp Wood two sisters, Sallie Roberts of Uvalde and Nellie Williams and husband, Marvin of Camp Wood sisterinlaw, Olive Cox of Uvalde brother, Fred Cox and wife, Ann of Camp Wood five grandchildren, Brittany Cox Justin Cox Clint Eugene Miller Elizabeth Bishop and husband, Cody and Holly Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents brother, John H. Cox sister, Nona Whitley two brothersinlaw, Chubby Roberts and T.L. Whitley and grandson, William Miller. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Barksdale Baptist Church with burial following in the Camp Wood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Miller Wayne Coleman Cody Bishop Milas Williams Mark Cox and Ryan Cox Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Cox Randy Whipkey Calvin Collier B.T. Malone and Colby Williams.
