Arturo Reyes

Arturo C. Reyes of Uvalde passed away on June 20, 2014 in San Antonio at the age of 66. He was born on October 4, 1947 in Alice, TX to Jose and Evangelina Cuellar Reyes. He married Irene Moreno in Uvalde on December 23, 1978. He is survived by his wife of 35 years two daughters, Claudia Zimmermann and husband, Alonso of Las Cruces, NM and Michelle Hicks and husband, Shane of Killeen, TX three sons, Mark Reyes and wife, Laura and John Reyes, all of Uvalde and Carlos Reyes and wife, Amy of Germany six sisters, Eloisa Rodriguez Alma Reyes Rebecca Flores Melba Castillo and Sylvia Ramirez, all of Uvalde and Antonia Pena of Spofford five brothers, Jose Reyes, Jr. Ruben Reyes Daniel Reyes and Reymundo Reyes, all of Uvalde and Domingo Reyes of Del Rio 13grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Arturo Reyes, Jr. A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 7:00 PM and a vigil will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
