Asencion Rodriguez

Asencion Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on June 11, 2013 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. He was born on September 14, 1923 in Big Wells, Texas to Marcial and Camila Pena Rodriguez. He is survived by his daughters, Angelina Vasquez and Aurora Rodriguez both of Uvalde sons, Ernesto Rodriguez and wife, Elia of Knippa, Mario Rodriguez, Alejandro Rodriguez both of Uvalde Reynaldo Rodriguez and wife Amalia of Castroville, Alberto Rodriguez of Knippa sister, Esperanza Velasquez of Uvalde numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents wife, Catarina Reyes Rodriguez daughters, Rosalinda Rodriguez and Teresa Rodriguez son, Luis Rodriguez and granddaughter, Melinda Rivera. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
