Aurora M. Arias of Uvalde passed away at her residence on October 30, 2013 in Uvalde at the age of 69. She was born on March 23, 1944 in Uruapan, Michoacan Mexico to Francisco and Eloisa Herrera Magana. She married Jesus H. Arias in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas on November 8, 1963. She is survived by her husband of 49 years of Uvalde daughters Marybel Peters and husband Nathan of San Antonio, Martha Luna and husband Rogelio, Aurora De Hoyos and husband Raul and Eloisa Valenzuela and husband Frank all of Uvalde, sons Pedro Arias and wife Juanita of Eagle Pass, and Ricardo Arias and wife Bernie, Ralph Arias and wife Roxana, Jesus Arias Jr., and Robert Arias,56 all of Uvalde, sister Estella Roldan of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, brothers Raul Magana and Ramiro Magana both of California, Rogelio Magana of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Miguel Magana of Mexico City, Mexico, and Guillermo Magana of Austin, 26 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Enrique Magana. A rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m and a vigil service on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with committal service to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Pedro Arias, Jesus Jesse Arias, Ralph Arias, Ricardo Bear Arias, Robert Arias and Javier Magana.
