Aurora Escamilla

Aurora C. Escamilla of Uvalde passed away on November 5, 2012 at Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 78. She was born on March 10, 1934 in Uvalde to Isidro and Rosa Riojas Cruz. She is survived by her daughter, Rosa Jimenez son, Isidro Escamilla and wife Melissa both of Uvalde grandchildren, Israel Jimenez Jr., Manuel Jimenez, Enrique Jimenez, Cristian Covarrubias, Isidro Escamilla Jr., Adrian Moncada and Alayna Moncada great granddaughter, Alayna Jimenez and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Manuel Escamilla. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eugenio Arrellano, Israel Jimenez, Enrique Jimenez, Manuel Jimenez, Sergio Ramos and Adrian Moncada. Honorary pallbearers will be Isidro Escamilla Jr. and Cristian Covarrubias.
