Aurora Prado

Aurora Prado of Batesville passed away on December 30, 2012 in Batesville, TX. at the age of 91. She was born on December 5, 1921 in Floresville, TX. to Juan and Benina Luna Vasquez. She married Francisco Prado on March 7, 1940 in Batesville, TX. She is survived by three daughters Teodosa Campos and husband Cruz of Batesville, TX. Hortencia Prado of Batesville, TX. and Lile Guedea of Uvalde, TX. two sons Ernesto Prado and wife Virginia of Uvalde, TX. and Arnulfo Prado of Batesville, TX. twentythree grandchildren and thirtynine great grandchildren, twentytwo greatgreat grandchildren soninlaw Antonio Acosta of Los Angeles, California and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Minerva Acosta, son Francisco Prado Jr., sister Anita Maria Rios, brothers Jesus Vasquez, Jose Vasquez, Refugio Vasquez and Reynaldo Vasquez, granddaughter Veronica Prado, grandson Joseph Prado and greatgranddaughter Marissa Luna. Vigil and recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Batesville with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery.
