Aurora Rendon

Aurora R. Rendon of Uvalde passed away on December 1, 2009 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. She was born on May 7, 1931 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Leonardo and Segunda Rangel. She married Roberto G. Rendon on October 11, 1951 in Nuevo Laredo. She is survived by one daughter; Alicia Lopez and husband, Lauro of McAllen, Texas; four sons; Roberto Rendon Jr. and wife, Sonia; Ruben Rendon and wife, Alicia; and Ricardo Rendon and wife, Rosa all of Uvalde, Texas; Raul Rendon and wife, Nancy of Tyler, Texas; three sisters; Amalia Martinez and Carmen Hinojosa both of Nuevo Laredo; and Sara Julia Trevino of San Antonio, Texas; one brother; Leonardo Rangel Jr. of Nuevo Laredo; fifteen grandchildren; Roberto Rendon; David Rendon; Ruben Antonio Rendon Jr.; Jose Robert Rendon; Teresa Angelica Rendon; Ricardo Rendon Jr.; Rodolfo Rendon; Cristina Maria Rendon; Rosanna Aurora Rendon; Samantha Rendon; Roberto Enrique Rendon; Ryan Rendon; Ross Rendon; Rebecca A. Lopez; and Lisa V. Lopez; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three sisters; Consuelo Rodriguez; Lucia De La Garza; and Thelma Rangel. A rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Christ the King in Laredo, Texas with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Laredo, Texas.
