Barbara Burgess

Barbara Ann Burgess of Kerrville passed away on June 20, 2008 at her residence at the age of 67. She was born on October 6, 1940 to Randolph and Lula Olivia Garner Burgess in Houston, TX. She graduated from Bel Air High School in Houston and attended Southwestern University in Georgetown. She graduated from Massey Business College in Houston and became a legal secretary in Houston for many years. She retired to Utopia in 1990, where she was a member of the Utopia Methodist Church. She moved to Kerrville in 2003 where she did volunteer work. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Anna Mae Burgess. She is survived by a host of friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM in Jones Cemetery, Utopia, TX. Rev. Gerald Harvey and Rev. Kent Kepler will officiate.
