Barbara Garza

Barbara M. Garza of Uvalde passed away on April 27, 2014 at her residence at the age of 51. She was born on April 2, 1963 in Floydada, Texas to Noe and Juanita Beccera Martinez. She married Celso Garza on March 19, 1988 in Uvalde. She is survived by her husband of 26 years parents daughter, Rebekah Garza son, Mark Garza all of Uvalde sister, Monica Martinez and husband Richard of San Antonio brothers, Noe Martinez and wife Mary Lou of San Antonio and Ramon Martinez and wife Cristina of San Angelo and numerous nieces and nephews. A vigil will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Martinez, John Paul Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Julian Martinez, Louie Garza, and Angel Duran. Honorary pallbearer will be Judge Neto Luna.
